The library's mission is to provide information resources to support the research and information needs of students and faculty. Because textbooks are updated so frequently, it is not feasible to use library funds to purchase textbooks. Some professors place a copy of their textbook on Reserve at the Library Services Desk for student use, and some books the library owns are on general Library Reserve. These items are typically checked out for two hours at a time for in-library use. You can search the Reserve list by professor to see if your textbook is available there or search the catalog by the title of the book.
