Microfilm is a film with a reduced image of printed matter such as a periodical or book. Microfilm is film on reels. Microfiche is a film on a flat sheet or card. All microfilm/microfiche titles in the library are arranged by call number in cabinets in the Library Annex, and can be found by searching the library catalog. Some of the library's backfiles of periodicals and dissertations, or rare books are available in microfilm or microform format. A scanner is available to scan pages from microfilm or fiche to PDF format.
